The Creator has perfect knowledge (see God's Chosen Path) and He knew, before He created the Earth and the solar system to which it belongs, that sin would mar His creation of Earth and all that live there. Therefore the first thing that God created for Earth and its solar system was time (see Creation) and, within the boundaries of time, He established an appointed time to implement His plan to restore human beings to their original sinless position in order to ensure that His purpose for creating human beings in the Earth would be fulfilled (see God's Will - Earth).
When we look at ourselves and "nature" - we are looking at God's creation. God's creative power demonstrated in nature attests to His wisdom in the laws by which His creation operates. Furthermore, the wisdom evidenced in God's creation gives us glimpses into who He is. This wisdom that we see operating in all of God's creation tells us that there is a right way for all things to work in order to fulfill the purpose for which they were created (see God's Will - Earth). God has established the right way in which He would restore human beings to their original sinless position to ensure that His purpose would be fulfilled on Earth.
Everyone is a sinner and stands silent, guilty, and accountable before God. Sin offends God because it abuses, perverts, spoils, and destroys the good things that He has made. Sin pollutes the sinner and God's original pronouncement is that the punishment for sin is death. Therefore the entire human race faces the punishment of death for their sins - it is because of sin that every human being is destined to die. However, the Creator, in His mercy chose to implement His plan of redemption of human beings from sin and death.
Redemption of the human race from sin and its punishment of death is solely under the authority of the Creator and not of man, and, as such, the Creator has established the right way for man's salvation from sin and death. There are many ways to come to an awareness of God and His existence, but there is only one right way for human beings to be redeemed from sin and its punishment of death and that right way has been established by God, the Creator. That ONE and ONLY way is through Jesus Christ.
God's redemption plan reveals His goodness and profound love for His creation. It should be noted that despite all its dismal qualities, sin makes one contribution, which is - God chose to redeem His people from sin and its punishment of death. In God choosing to save us from sin and death, sin itself became the stimulus for God's demonstration of His amazing patience, grace, and profound love for us, as it is written in John 3:16-2,
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."
Who is this "begotten son" to which the Holy Bible refers? His name is Jesus Christ. God, in His perfect knowledge and wisdom, provided the right way for salvation and that right way is through Jesus Christ, as it is written in John 14: 6-7,
“Jesus told him,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know Him and have seen Him!"
The question that each of us has to ask of ourselves is, "Am I like Cain who offers to God what I think I should or am I going to do it His way?" And finally, "what would be my response when God asks of me, "Why are you so angry? Why do you look so dejected? You will be accepted if you respond in the right way."?" (see God's Will - Earth).
